Purchasing - our guidelines
Achieving a high level of customer satisfaction is the core aim of our business. An essential requirement here is the delivery of products of the highest consistent quality. This demands the utmost care when selecting raw materials, packaging, technical articles, materials and services. The high standards that we set for our business also apply within the framework of our supplier selection and evaluation. This means that we expect them to supply first-class consistent quality, ensuring reliability of supply, delivering on time and offering competitive prices. To achieve this, we co-operate across the board with the appropriate specialist divisions of our company in order to ensure the best combination of performance, delivery, adherence to schedules and prices. Achieving quality targets is an essential condition, along with the aim to optimise our supply chain management.

Supplier development
As part of our purchasing strategy for goods and services, we seek cooperation with high-performance suppliers who share our quality philosophy and are interested in open, fair and long-term cooperation. The prerequisites for this are an established quality system according to DIN ISO 9000 ff, environmentally conscious actions according to DIN EN ISO 14001, on-time and flexible fulfilment of our requirements as well as innovativeness and assistance in the development of technical solutions.
Fairness and transparency
We make our purchasing decisions exclusively on the basis of objective and clearly defined criteria. When selecting suppliers, implementing goals and evaluating supplier performance, we coordinate internally and proceed according to uniform criteria and procedures. As a socially responsible, ethically correct and sustainably acting company, we pursue a holistic approach in dealing with our suppliers, which we have defined in our Supplier Code of Conduct.
