At Dr Weigert, we are actively facing up to the challenges of demographic change - in a variety of ways. As part of our organised and structured succession planning, we would also like to focus on training young talents in addition to internal qualification measures. We are currently training chemical laboratory technicians (m/f/d), electronics technicians for industrial engineering (m/f/d) and IT specialists for system integration (m/f/d). We will continue to expand our training portfolio and, as a first step, add the IT specialist for application development (m/f/d) training programme. At the same time, we are offering trainee positions for university graduates. This gives participants the opportunity to gain practical experience and develop their skills in a real working environment. By promoting young talent internally, we have already been able to successfully fill positions in the past. By the end of 2026, we aim to increase the proportion of apprentices and trainees to at least 2% of the total number of employees.
