In July 2023, Dr. Weigert installed two electric charging stations in the employee parking lot. The stations have a total of four charging points. Electric and hybrid vehicles can be charged here.
The parking spaces are specially marked. They can only be used for charging electric and hybrid vehicles. To start with two parking lots are used. In the future, Dr. Weigert can expand the number of parking spaces with electric charging stations to four, with the addition of a second charging station (which is already in place).
Since protecting the environment and reducing CO2 emissions is a key component of sustainability, Dr. Weigert is taking this step to further reduce its carbon footprint. A major factor in reducing CO2 emissions is transportation-related carbon dioxide (CO2), air pollutants and noise pollution. Electric vehicles are emission-free and are considered to be more climate and environmentally friendly.
Dr. Weigert would like to take this step together with its employees and welcomes every new voluntary change to an electric or hybrid vehicle.
