In 2023, we once again took part in CITY CYCLING – cycling for a good climate. The Climate Alliance’s CITY CYCLING campaign was launched in 2008 and went international in 2017. During the campaign period, the Dr. Weigert sports team cycled more than 2,000 km. As well as getting lots of exercise, the participants could also feel good knowing that they had done something to help protect the environment. The CITY CYCLING portal calculated the amount of carbon emissions avoided based on the number of kilometres we cycled: almost 330 kg!
