As a member of the "Industrieverband Hygiene und Oberflächenschutz für industrielle und institutionelle Anwendung e.V. (IHO)", Dr. Weigert contributed to the preparation of the IHO's first sustainability report (reporting period 2022). This report marks an important milestone in documenting the industry's sustainability efforts and identifying future options for action. For example: What is the current proportion of green electricity in the industry? Which certifications and eco-labels are used? What is the gender ratio?
In order to present the sustainability activities in a transparent and comparable manner, the results of the survey were compared with figures from the German economy and the chemical industry as a benchmark. The survey, which covers 64% of employees and 78% of the product range, is considered representative of the industry.
